Kids are the greatest – sometimes!

My Son Sean’s 9th Grade Picture

Well seriously being a mom is fantastic but being a mom of a teenager – let’s just say challenging. I know because I was a teenager and I don’t know how how my mom lived through it. Luckily my kid is better than I was but I’m still looking over my shoulder wondering if Karma is going to come out and bite me. Nevertheless, I have a pretty good 15 year old, albeit still a teenager. He wrote me a super heartfelt Mother’s Day card that said I was his biggest cheerleader and he loves laughing with me and he know our love will last forever but he also added that me and my husband have our flaws. Really! I didn’t bother asking him what they were because I’m sure he would have offered too much information about my short-comings and I’m not all that interested. Well I’d love to finish this blog but It’s time to pick up the kid, make him a snack, chauffeur him to and from tutoring, help him with his homework (lying no one understands CPM Math), go grocery shopping, make dinner, make lunch for the next day, be the best cheerleader, have a glass of wine or two then collapse until another day!
