I've been the 'Voice of Silicon Valley' for the past 20 years, entertaining morning commuters in the Bay Area on 'The Pope and Marla' and 'Bill and Marla' Show. The top-rated shows touched generations of listeners with daily news updates and comedy and laughter.
I was also a Disc Jockey at the legendary KOME-FM in the 1990s. It was rock radio at it's best and what a thrill it was to rock out at a radio station that was such an integral part of the South Bay culture. If you watch the TV show 'Silicon Valley' you'll see those epic black and gold stickers'. I've continued the tradition of sharing my love of music by DJing at KPIG-FM in Santa Cruz/Watsonville.
I've also teamed up with Golden Leaf Pictures as a Project Manager/Producer of 'Woodstock Nation' - a documentary about Revolution, Evolution and The Life Changing Magic of Music Festivals. I've built an audio studio where I host my podcast 'Festival Nation' and record voice-overs.
Since it's always been about music for me, I'm finally learning to play guitar myself. I also keep myself centered by practicing yoga, aqua yoga and I'm an aqua fitness instructor. And I'm painting watercolors again. I live in San Jose with my husband Bob, teenage son Sean, Darkstar the cat and Stella Blue the dog (who actually like each other).
